Additional Information

Product Description

The ANTARES is a microcontrolled photobiomodulation therapy device developed for use in different areas of health and aesthetics. The ANTARES can operate with single applicators (probes) and larger applicators (clusters), which offer a new dimension of Light Therapy.

Includes: IEC PP female cable (2 × 0.75 mm² × 1500 mm), 5 A fuse, digital operations manual, protective goggles (200–1200 nm) for operator and patient.
Optional accessories: interlock connector; Probes P1–P5; Clusters P1–P2, G1–G3.

Dimensions

Place probe or cluster in contact with skin, without pressure. Refer to provided examples for correct positioning.
During photobiomodulation, adjust wavelength and dose to target chromophores—this yields significant clinical effects.

PRECAUTIONS

Position patient comfortably (seated or lying).

Maintain at least 20 cm between operator/patient and equipment.

Clean treatment area with water, neutral soap, and 0.5% alcoholic chlorhexidine or 70% medicinal alcohol; allow drying.

Clean applicator before and after each session; clean lens with lightly moistened cotton and disinfectant.

Re-examine skin post-treatment to ensure maximum light energy reaches target tissues and minimize irritation.

Aesthetic:

  • Acne,
  • Hyperpigmentation,
  • Facial rejuvenation,
  • Post-surgical healing,
  • Lipolysis, Acupuncture (Laserpuntura),
  • Podiatry (wound healing, onychomycosis),
  • Dermatology (psoriasis, Alopecia, Photodynamic therapy, herpes control).

Physical rehabilitation:

  • arthritis,
  • arthrosis,
  • facial paralysis,
  • carpal tunnel syndrome,
  • epicondylitis,
  • tendinitis,
  • scarring,
  • microcirculation enhancement,
  • edema reduction,
  • musculoskeletal regeneration,
  • local circulation increase,
  • muscle/joint pain relief,
  • muscle relaxation,
  • spasm relief,
  • arthritis-related pain relief,
  • post-exercise muscle

Photon irradiation of low-energy light (LLLT or LEDT) can modulate biological processes—this is called photobiomodulation. Clusters treat larger areas with multiple wavelengths; Probes target specific points and wavelengths with up to 180 mW power.

Pregnant women or those intending to become pregnant; using without protective goggles; aiming at eyes of humans or animals; areas with steroid injections in past 2–3 weeks; symptomatic pain without known etiology; over carotid sinus nerves, especially in sensitive patients; neck thyroid area; cancer lesions; epilepsy photoseizure patients; near growth plates until growth ends; areas prone to bleeding post-trauma or fracture; abdomen during pregnancy.

How to check infrared probe function?

Use light emission check; wear goggles, place applicator on the device’s CHECK receptor; once “EMISSION OK” appears, device switches to the selected mode (Aesthetic, Rehabilitation, Laserpuntura, Custom, etc.).

Best Cluster for facial and body use?

Facial: Cluster P1;

Body: Cluster G3.

Can Antares do ILIB?

Yes—though it doesn’t include the ILIB wristband; program the parameters and perform the technique manually.

How to choose an applicator?

First, identify your field (Rehabilitation vs. Aesthetics); second, size of treatment area; third, desired tissue penetration (wavelength).
