Electrostimulation
Neurodyn Aussie Sport is a device for applying the exclusive Aussie current (also called Australian current)—a new generation of electrical current for stimulation with advantages over traditional stimulation methods.

Exclusive Current
The Aussie current, also known as Australian current, is a therapeutic alternating electrical current operating in a frequency range between 1 kHz and 4 kHz.
Its big differential lies in the use of a short burst duration (2 and 4 ms), which makes it more comfortable for patients, especially when compared to other therapeutic currents. This short burst provides a softer stimulation, allowing greater tolerance during treatment, without causing excessive discomfort.
Aussie current is one of the most effective options in electrotherapy, standing out for its impact on both muscle strengthening and pain relief (analgesia). Moreover, its versatility makes it a valuable therapeutic tool in many clinical situations. It is widely used not only in physiotherapy but also in sports training programs, aiding in injury recovery, muscle performance improvement, and enhanced physical conditioning.

Neurodyn Aussie Sport features four output channels with independent intensity controls. The device is simple to operate, enabling multiple body treatment options targeting aesthetic dysfunctions and physical rehabilitation.
Additionally, it includes a Blue Light LCD Display and Soft Touch keys for adjusting parameters and intensity.
Neurodyn Aussie Sport is a device for applying electrical current via electrodes in direct contact with the patient. It is a transcutaneous neuromuscular stimulator using microcomputer technology, with operation via a touchscreen keyboard. All information regarding the parameters selected by the professional therapist is displayed on an alphanumeric liquid crystal display.
The Neurodyn Aussie Sport produces Aussie Current (also called Australian Current), a new generation of electrical current for stimulation offering advantages over traditional methods (such as Russian, Interferential, TENS, and FES). This technique is non-invasive, non-addictive, and has no undesirable side effects.
The waveform produced by this device is much more comfortable than any traditional stimulation forms. Thus, it is more likely to be pleasant for the majority of patients.
The Aussie current offers two frequency options: 1 kHz and 4 kHz, allowing selection based on therapeutic objectives—1 kHz for muscle strengthening/toning and 4 kHz for lymphatic drainage and analgesia. The bursts have short durations (2 ms at 1 kHz and 4 ms at 4 kHz), with a variable frequency of 1 to 120 Hz and intensity from 1 to 180 mA.
The sensation level is controlled by adjusting the parameters via the device controls. As mentioned, because the Aussie current offers a more pleasant stimulus than most traditional electrical currents (e.g., Russian, Interferential, TENS, FES), sensory or motor stimulation can be achieved with minimal discomfort.
